Animal behaviorist supports humane holidays through new book and events.
The winter holidays are at full swing here in the mountains. The weather was warm--although people from the coast don't agree!
My book events have been fun. The animal fire victim project is underway. The final decision is to accept $10 per toy and then donate the funds to the agencies and the toys to the animals. Thanks to Joe Markham of KONG Company for leading the way to helping the local animals.
The webpage at my site should be up soon with the details. Donation checks and money orders will have to be made directly to the selected organizations.
On the fun side, I will be working with animal models for a new doggie online catalog. We will be doing fundraising events (me and those "fashion hounds") for humane agencies and related animal organizations. I have already been asked to come and speak to various equine groups, churches, and assorted conferences. Stay tuned for more info.
I am conducting an online fundraiser for non-profit animal organizations. I can send the webmaster the details and coding and then every personalized book through my site that is referred by them gains a direct donation to the group!
Also, I am about ready to upload a "Humane Holiday Hints" checklist for newspapers, humane societies, animal shelters, and radio. If you would like to get the word out, please visit the press kit area of my website: www.arkanimals.com and print up the press releases.
