Four Hours!...come on
The story goes that a drug company had developed a new prescription drug for high blood pressure. As normal protocal required testing it on humans, they opted to do so in the prison system. Well...as the test proceeded low & behold, it was multi-erections of the cells within the prison cells. Viva...a new market! Hypertention be damned. erections a go go.
So...the Madison avenue advertising dudes jumped at the best way to get the miracle message to the impotential buyer on television. They showed couples on a beach smiling & holding hands,so satisfied; They showed a 10 year aniversary couple with the guy dressed in his wedding suit, carrying his bride into the bedroom. They had a five piece band expound on the pill with their theme song...VIVA VIAGRA. All very effective advertisement. But they didn't stop there.
The warning about the drug did it for all the males on the planet and perhaps some members of the fair sex. "If you have an errection lasting more than four hours, call your doctor."
Let's think about that brilliant Madison Avenue marketing ploy for a moment. I'll be within moral bounds here. Would a single dude after four hours of erectal function really call his doctor or would he call his old girl friend or call back his new girl friend?... or maybe call his buddy and brag? Wouldn't a married dude call his wife back from the soccer drop-off or the super market to come home immediately?
Let's also wonder about this: if in the records of medical history has anyone ever called his doctor after four hours of such a proud condition?
