Genesis 1:5
• Genesis 1:5, "And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day."
The Day and Night mentioned in verse 5 is a spiritual day, not a physical day. The physical day and night is created on the fourth day of creation. The Day in verse 5 refers to the salvation Light.
• I Thessalonians 5:5-9, "Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ."
It is abundantly obvious that God has planned for the salvation of man through Jesus Christ from the beginning.
It is my hope that all who know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior will understand the importance of God's provision and share Jesus with all they know.
