The Fall of Man by J-me (Part 10)

Genesis 3:15
• Genesis 3:15, "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel."
It is interesting to note that the seed of the woman and the seed of the serpent would hate each other. Man in his weakness has continually fought sin and failed. Only in Christ can man overcome sin.
I believe this is a foreshadowing of Christ. Just as it is foretold that the seed of the woman would bruise the serpent's head. So Christ, born of a virgin, as his feet were nailed to the cross triumphed over the head of the serpent, (Satan, the father of sin), and forever gives salvation to all who call on him.
• Hebrews 2:9, "But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man."
• Hebrews 2:14, "Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil."
Praise God, who has given provision for salvation through his holy Son, Jesus Christ.
