Out on a limb

First Children's Book
Sometimes you've got to go out on a limb because that's where the fruit is so Being Red is my first attempt at a children's book. Target audience is 8-10 years of age.
I've had fun researching all there is to know about hippopotamuses and more fun writing the 800 word story about Kipenzi and her family. The lyrics to the tune "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" ring in my ears at unexpected times and make me smile. Onward.
