Why is Victorian Dreams Raising Brows?
BW/WM Interracial Romance,

Victorian Dreams, by Empress LaBlaQue
Allie Beset is employed by Sullivan Realtors. When asked to photograph an old mansion for their internet site, she opens a door and finds herself back in the Victorian era. Although it’s the 1800’s, Allie discovers she was never a slave, wealthy, and married to a refined blue-eyed lawyer. Edward Coe is about to run for Governor, but people are not about to accept his Black wife. How far will people go to destroy this mixed-matched pair and their undying affections? Victorian Dreams is endearing and the characters really tug at your heart. I was sitting on the edge of my seat the entire time. My heart raced until the bitter end! Beverly Godfrey

OMG! Empress, what a love story! I was scared to breathe. I laughed, I was angry, then I was scared. But girllll, the ending was perfect. I didn’t think I’d like this one, but I’m sold! This is a classic.

Empress,
I absolutely loved, Victorian Dreams! I really like the 18th century vocabulary sprinkled in the lines as well. I felt a different "vibe" {for lack of a better word} with this one and I enjoyed it to the fullest. You have an extraordinary imagination!! You go girl. Ok, back to "Heads I win"

Tammy's Review: Victorian Dreams by Empress LaBlaQue is a great read. I was drawn in from the beginning and held captive to the end. Ms. LaBlaQue wrote this historical setting perfectly in line with the way society would have been at that time.

Edward and Allie shared a love that proved the color of their skin did not matter. This couple proved that you can be happy as long as you are willing to follow your heart. Edward and Allie were realistic and very loveable. They were both willing to fight for their right to love who they want, regardless of what people thought.

Empress LaBlaQue wrote a fantastic story of true love. I enjoyed her writing voice, as well as the vivid descriptions and the voice she gave to her characters. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Rated 5 Delightful Divas by Tammy!

Hello Empress,
Wow, this one is very timely!! You are very good at sending people back in history; from the description of the furnishings to the language. I loved it!!
I got use to the language. You hit it out the ballpark again!!!
