My Thoughts On American Idol Last Night (05/16/2012)

MY THOUGHTS ON AMERICAN IDOL LAST NIGHT (05/16/2012):
Those hometown visits were spectacular!!! They had all brought in some large crowds!!!! In my opinion, Jessica’s crowd was the largest. Philip’s was second.
Philip, as his usual geeky-gay-looking-self, had miraculously brought a large crowd!! I just can’t imagine what’s so good about this geek, and why do people even like him. I don’t dig his type of songs at all, and I probably WILL NOT be buying his albums even if he becomes the American Idol. He sang 3 songs last night, none of which I had liked and am not going further to talk about them now.
Jessica’s crowd was totally large and awesome!! I don’t know how it would make her feel; but she seemed rather happy and totally surprised at how large a crowd she had brought in for herself. It must have been overwhelming for a 16-year-old!!
Jessica, on the other hand, had sung beautifully with a much softer voice last night. This young lady can sing like a professional singer. I don’t know when and how in her young life she could have acquired those talents. I do believe that she was born with it!!! This young lady could hit really high notes, and yet while you were worrying for her whether or not she was gong to screw that up, then suddenly she would come down with a real soft and sweet lower tone that is so pleasant to your ears. Jessica really knows how to control the highs and the lows when she sings. I was happy to be able to hear the softer side of her voice last night. She sang three songs, the first one was really hard to sing, but miraculously she had pulled that through with flying colours. She had won my vote last night!!!!
The crowd for Joshua was large too, but not in compared to Jessica’s and Philip’s. He was happy to see his friends and his family, and was totally surprised with the crowd that had come to see him. I think no matter where Joshua stands in this competition, he will also have some record deals made for himself, so it will not be a total loss.
Joshua had sung 3 songs, but had been screaming pretty much all night with all his might. I do think that in some instances he had gone overboard with the screaming. He did quite well on his second song “Imagine” but in my opinion it was not as good as what the judges had given it credits for; and also, one good song out of three isn’t going to get him into the final two!!!
My prediction is that Joshua will be leaving this evening, leaving Jessica and Phillips to compete with one another, and most likely geeky Philip will win the title as American Idol, because they will need to give him more training; and Jessica, on the other hand, will have a career out of herself, hosting concerts, and going places. Honestly… with a voice like Jessica’s and the talent that goes with it, she does not need anymore training from anyone!!!!! She will be busy signing contracts to do shows. She will do well even if she doesn’t win.
