The Wonderful World of Ayurveda

I just returned from the most amazing holiday in India. I did not travel to the pristine shores of the Maldives, to the ramparts of Malta, to the mountains of the Karakoram, or the temples of Ladakh. This trip found me heading to an Ayurveda Clinic just north of Cochin in South India for three weeks of treatments based on the Ayurveda philosophy of health and well being that finds its roots in the Vedic sutras of the Hindu tradition. Tucked away at the edge of a coconut palm plantation, I stayed there three weeks and enjoyed the holistic approach they take to detoxification and rejuvenation of the body. I am presently writing up a new article about my experience there this summer of 2012 and will post it when finished.
