No! I don't think that we should work for free, but as many of us are not famous, we have to prepare to allow people to read large portions of our books for free. Then hopefully after they read a portion of it, only then they might consider buying a copy. As for the unknown self-publisher, perhaps it's the only way to do it, in trying to lure sale. Of course, if there was a free and easier way it would be nice. |
