Turning Pages is housed in is an antebellum structure built in the 1830’s and first used as a mercantile shop before becoming Geisenberger’s Drug Store. The store front was vacant for fifteen years before being totally renovated for Turning Pages Books & More. There are three levels to the building at 520 Franklin Street with the main level being used for the bookstore.
Turning Pages Books & More is a full service independent bookstore with an eclectic assortment of books in the categories of fiction, biography, history, classical literature, Civil War, African American, gardening, collectibles, southern authors, regional, religion, inspirational fiction, cookbooks, political, and children’s books. We also carry a variety of greeting cards, journals, bookmarks, music CDs, children’s plush toys and audio books.
