Black Writers and Book Clubs (BWABC) Literacy Festival is more than a conference or retreat. It is a celebration of literacy! The BWABC Literacy Festival will unite authors, book clubs and readers for the sake of promoting literacy and supporting authors. BWABC will bring together in one place, under one roof, some of the nation’s top authors, as well as new and aspiring authors.
We want readers, book clubs and those who are just plain curious, to celebrate National Literacy Month by attending the festival all for the sake of promoting literacy. Mix, mingle, chat, have fun, take pictures and spend time and money with authors and book clubs from all over the country!
