Join us for a book reading and signing of Black Minqua: The Life and Times of Henry Green. The book is Historical Non Fiction, and available beginning July 2012. Henry Green stepped into History with his involvement in the events of September 11, 1851, now called the Christiana Resistance.
Henry and his for bearers were Indian/blacks living in an area known as, The Welsh Mountains in Lancaster County Pennsylvania. It was a speech from Frederick Douglass that would give them to courage to face those who would enslave their fellow human beings. Henry and the men in his community faced prosecution from the law and persecution from the white community.
This is a story that will not soon be forgotten.
