How do I set up My Newsletter?
Click on [My Newsletter] on the left-hand side under My Den Controls and follow the steps listed on the page.
Q: How do I add my sign-up box to my pages on AuthorsDen?
A: We automatically add your Newsletter sign-up to all your AuthorsDen Web pages.
Q: Can I link to my newsletter from my own personal site (outside of AuthorsDen)?
A: Absolutely! Simply click on My Newsletter, then click on the Wizard: Add-to-my-homepage link. Follow the directions and you’ll end up with the exact code you’ll need in order to insert your custom form onto your Web page.
Q: How do I manage subscribers?
A: If you wish to delete subscribers, contact us.
Q: What are the archives for?
A: The archives enable people to read your previously sent newsletters. This will help them get up to speed and learn more about you.
Q: I already send out an e-mail newsletter to people I've signed up over the years and it has a name. How can I use that name in my AuthorsDen newsletter?
A: You can call your newsletter whatever you like. Just put its name in the "Invitation.”
Q: I have a large list of people who want to subscribe. Do they have sign up themselves or can I automatically add them in a batch?
A: If it’s a lot of people (over 50 or so), e-mail us and tell us what format they are in. We will then provide step-by-step instructions.
Q: How do I know how many subscribers I have and who they are?
A: Click on My Newsletter on the left-hand side under My Den Controls; the number of current subscribers appears at the top of the page, underneath the “Welcome” message. To see who your current subscribers are, click on the View my Subscribers link.
Q: How does a reader subscribe to my newsletter?
A: There is a box at the upper left-hand corner of all of the author’s pages which enables the reader to subscribe to your newsletter, among other things.
Q: How does a reader unsubscribe from my newsletter?
A: Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link so the reader can opt-out at any time.
