Q: How do I add a new article to AuthorsDen?
A: You can either upload a file containing your article (.PDF or .DOC formats only) or paste the text of your article into a freeform area by clicking on My Articles under My Den Controls and enter the information in the fields provided. If you’re uploading a file, skip the "Article Content" section and click on the Next to Upload button; otherwise, type or paste your text into the "Article Content" section and click on the Next to Upload button.
Q: How many articles can I post?
A: As many as you’d like – there’s no limit.
Q: How do I delete an article?
A: Click on My Articles under My Den Controls. Right underneath the title of the article are the actions you can take; click on the Remove link under the title of the article you’d like to delete.
Q: What file formats do you accept for uploading?
A: We currently accept both Adobe Acrobat (.PDF) and Word (.DOC) formats.
Q: Do you perform a spell check on articles and other text that I enter?
A: Yes, but only on text that you have directly entered via the form; uploaded files are not spellchecked by AuthorsDen.
Q: I have WebTV and want to upload a file (picture or text); how do I do this?
A: In order to upload text (e.g., articles, stories), that text needs to be in a file on a computer. Seek out a friend with a computer to help you, visit a library or contact us.
