Author Joan Koelle Snipes Named BibleWise.com Consultant

Bible Teaching Press announces the appointment of author Joan Koelle Snipes of Shepherdstown, West Virginia to the position of consultant for BibleWise.com, an Internet webpage. BibleWise.com, a not-for-profit organization headquartered in Los Gatos, California, has the mission of fostering "a deeper love and understanding of the Bible and its application in daily life."
Joan Snipes, author of "That Ye May Teach the Children: A Bible Outline with Questions for Parents and Teachers," was selected for the consultant position by Genelle Austin-Lett, Executive Director of BibleWise.com. Snipes will be meeting with other staff members in June 2003 when she flies to California to attend the twenty-fifth anniversary Bible Study Seminar at Asilomar, located on the Monterey Peninsula. Snipes was a speaker at this seminar two years ago.
This spring Snipes has traveled extensively giving Bible study workshops. Speaking on the topic of "Hezekiah, Godly King of Judah," Snipes has been invited by churches and other sponsoring groups in Maine, Ohio, Missouri, Connecticut, Maryland and Washington, DC.
Snipes's book, "That Ye May Teach the Children," was published in 2001 and has garnered praise from Sunday School teachers all over the country.
