Act III The Art Olympics is added to the Art Dockuments. Act III is about art in downtown LA during the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. Art Dockuments 21 -27 tell stories about the Art Dock in relationship to the new Museum of Contemporary Art and its first big show the Automobile and Culture Exhibition. Also included in these 7 dockuments is the tale of the "Fountain" by Brett Goldstone, the artist famous in those days as "Art Attack." Brett's fountain made from an old water heater is hilariously sited by the LA building department as illegal plumbing.
Act IV The Business of Art is in process and should be up on the web in a month or more. This is the final act of the Art Dockuments and includes the best story about "Dissolving Views" by Sauren Crow, where the art never made it to the opening. Stayed tuned or plugged in.
