A New Adventure

| I am at the moment attempting to get a cover page done and all my poetry in manuscript form, to send in to a few different publishing companies. My fingers and toes are all crossed. Also, I will be starting another book for the MayHaven Publishing Contest that I was invited to participate in. I hope to have something up for review soon. |
I have been working on getting enough poetry wrote to send in, in manuscript form. Some companies want 10 poems, some want 20. I am for the 20. I am subscribed to the Writers Digest magazine and it has a lot of information that I have been using to help me out with this. It's a great magazine. It's not as easy as people would assume to get published. Right!?
I was invited to enter the MayHaven Publishing contest. They are excepting Childrens Fiction and Adult Fiction. I thought I might try my hand in the childrens area for this. The only problem that I can foresee is that they want the story by December and I am already quite bussy, having a husband, 2 kids and 3 cats to take care of. Plus trying to get a book of poetry published and finish the other book(Show Me Your Love) and get it published. Ofcourse I will be starting to substitute teach in October also. I will let you all know what happens. You have been great at reviewing and commenting on my poetry.
