Publishing

I always wondered what it would be like when I finally got to talk to a rublishing company. Now I know......Well, kind of, I just don't understand it all.

I recieved a call 2 days ago from 1st Books Publishing company. When the associate first told me who he was and from where my heart started doing flip flops. But as he went on they slowed to just a fast beat. You see, for those who don't know it, they are a print on demand company, I would be a self published author.
The prices are high, and not being independately wealthy already makes the prices impossible.
I am at the moment going over the pros and cons of self publishing or going with a Publishing company in my news letter.
I am going to make several query letters to send out by Saturday. I'll be able to see a difference between the 2 better once I have recieved responses.
