The second Wednesday of the month is Poets’ Night at Barron’s Arts Center in Woodbridge NJ from 8:00pm to 8:30pm. First the featured poet reads his or her poems for 30 to 45 minutes to an audience of poets.; then each poet, who signed up for reading, takes the floor to read two of his or her poems.
It’s a performance of the heart!
It’s an entertainment with words and sounds!
It’s a celebration of the soul and of the mind!
It’s a true freedom of expression!
It’s romance!
It’s enchantment!
It’s seduction!
It’s Poets’ Night!
Let it happen!
Write it! Read it!
Have fun with it!
Share it with others!
Each poet displays his or her art and craft: different styles, different views on life, different moods, different topics. Some is about love, some about every day life, some about dramatic situations, some is comedy.
Poetry is all around for us to absorb and translate it. If saying with flowers and chocolate is the proper style, saying it with a poem is true seduction. God blew the breath of life into the first man; now men and women exhale it in verse at Barron’s Arts Center in Woodbridge NJ celebrating life and poetry.
