S*T*A*R
Paul Kerr began his research for S*T*A*R in 1993 and finished the novel in 1997. After years of revision and rewriting, Ker, 48, says the first printing will be this summer. He compliments his wife for support and editing. Deborah Kerr, 47, says she enjoyed the process.
"I'm very proud of him," Deborah said, "He worked very hard and is very deserving of it." Kerr, in the security business, describes terrorism as world wide and generally involved with politics, religion and racism. He syas the terrorist mind set is that of a warrior rather then a criminal and that contemparary malcontents are living in a 16th. century mentality.
S*T*A*R is the name of the nove's covert government group who "search out terrorism ad provide whatever action is needed to stop it," Kerr said. "The message of the book is to fight this cancer in society with whatever means we can," he said. Kerr is thrilled to be an author and plans a series of novels involvng the terrorist fighting team.
