When a hurricane strikes it never leaves without doing some damage. Irene was not the worst hurricane but it must be up there for rain and flooding.

A small quaint library in Upper Jay, N.Y. has felt the wrath. The children are without books. Placed on the lower shelves so kids could reach them, the floods came in and destroyed all the books.
Wells Memorial Library is in dire need of childrens books. Picture books, are most needed. If you can, please donate one you have written or perhaps send a check so one can be purchased.
