This poem was my advice and wedding wish to newlywed couple on their Wedding Day:
On Your Wedding Day
On this special day
I would like to open my heart and express
What every father and mother would like to say
To their sons and daughters:
Today is the beginning of New Life
That both of you decided to share,
Your sacred union is a delicate flower
And it will grow and bloom
If you know how to nurture it with care.
To stay on a green path of Happiness
And walk towards light and grace
You have to respect each other,
You have to learn how to trust and share,
Practice patience…and forgiveness,
Be wise to respect the law of the Universe
To live in harmony together and with others
In physical, mental and spiritual planes,
Never impose your will onto another,
Don’t ignore the individuality of your partner,
Let the distance and space pull you together,
Don’t let the magnetism lose its power,
Let God’s light enter into your hearts,
Let the spirit rejoice in the greatness of our Creator,
Rekindle your gentle love, let it burn forever,
Don’t let the flames of passion die, disappear,
Don’t let pure flower of love wither,
In sickness or in health – always reach
And support each other…
Savor every bit of God’s given gift,
Cherish every moment of your precious life,
Try to live with passion as one, together,
To Love and care for each other…
