Several years ago I was asked by my publisher to speak at their first national convention, on how to successfully secure and market a book signing event. Apparently I had established a reputation as someone who had successfully held over a dozen book signings, of course my background as a marketing professional with over 25 years experience helped.

Since then I’ve hosted countless “on-line” seminars and workshops and recently I was asked to speak at the Apple Valley Book Festival in WV. The topic that every author seemed interested in was how to successfully secure and promote a book signing event; now that 40 minute workshop is available to you on CD.

I will demonstrate simple marketing and promotion techniques that are guaranteed to improve both the quality of your presentation and the sales tools you’ll need in securing a book signing. I’ll share with you my over 25 years experience as a graphic designer and marketing professional, simple easy to do promotions, that can make the difference between success or failure.
