However in recent years, I’ve slowly reacquainted myself back to my first love “illustration” and my creative roots.
For those still interested (there may be one or two still out there). I started my career (in the dark ages), as a graphic designer and illustrator, working as a freelancer in the early 80’s for a variety of advertising agencies and companies, in and around New York City.
In the late 80’s I launched my own greeting card company called Crazy Cutouts Inc. And while the company enjoyed some moderate success, the graphic design end of my business was doing extremely well and therefore putting most of my energy and creative efforts in making Amoroso Associates successful at the expense of Crazy Cutouts Inc.
Anyway, if I haven’t put you to sleep my now, I’m currently dusting off the cobwebs and launching once again “The I wanna be” series of my original greeting card cartoon characters.
In the coming months we’ll be launching a new website with dozens of original greeting card and wall hangings, for both children and adults alike.
The original cartoon characters can be either customized with your own personal message and or photo or purchased “as is”.
Hopefully, (if I don’t get side tracked), we should be up and running by the end of summer…however, I’m also working on my cook book…sooooo?
Regards,
Amo
