| I have suggested to authors, many, many times, "The World is Your Oyster for Promotion". Well, there is nothing quite like proving the theory of any statement, we, as promoters, continually offer to authors and publishers in an attempt to make their lives a little easier when it comes to the world of promotion throughout the Publishing Industry. |
The Australian Author, Pamela Faye, had an absolutely awesome author appearance at the Sunshine Coast Library, Queensland, Australia, last Thursday, which kept the audience spellbound for almost ninety minutes before she was given the wind-up by the Manager for Rolling Seas Promotions http://www.rollingseas.com.au, to then answer questions about the Publishing Industry, Promotion, and the technique of creative writing.
The biggest surprise, from the author appearance, came when there was a rush to the display table to buy the Native American Historic Fiction novel 'Chétan' of which Pamela spoke in-depth. The author's novels were taken as display books, never with the intention of selling the display from within the library. Pamela walked away with only one copy of the novel for herself and one for her Manager Mark Baker.
'Chétan' is published by Mundania Press, Cincinnati, Ohio, and is available through Ingram's US & UK International Distribution, along with Angus & Robertson Australia wide. 'Chétan' ISBN 1-59426-076-1
From the heart and soul emerges the power which lifted from within turning pages of the Native American Historic Fiction 'Chétan'. It is a timeless tale, one which carries a message from a sorrow deep within our hearts.
