Feather Schwartz Foster, of Scotch Plains, NJ, the author of the recently published book "LADIES: A Conjuecture of Personalities," will be presenting a program about her book, concerning the personalities of the "old" First Ladies, to the Women's Club of Metuchen-Edison, at 7:30 PM, Wednesday, September 1. The program will be held at St. Luke's Church, Route 27, Metuchen, NJ.
According to the author, "LADIES: A Conjecture...." is a book of voices - and you'll get an earful! In it, First LAdies between Martha Washington and Mamie Eisenhower tell their own stories - or, to be more exact, whatever they want - in their own words and in their own styles. it crosses boundaries between fact, conjecture and, most importantly, centuries. Through dialigue-boxes, the Ladies talk to each other across Eternity, where anything is possible. The Modern First LAdies, from Mrs. Kennedy through Mrs. Clinton, participate in commentary."
Author Feather Schwartz Foster has made numerous appearances in the metro-NJ area during the past year discussing her book and First LAdies in general. Books for purchase and inscription will be available.
