Feather Schwartz Foster, the author of the recently published book, "LADIES: A Conjecture of Persoalities," will be discussing her book on Rick Adams' "Community Corner" Television Show, to be aired on Patriot-9 Cable TV. The program is aired to households in the Somerset, Mercer, Hunterdon and Morris Counties in New Jersey.
According to the author, "LADIES: A Conjecture..." is a book of voices - and you'll get an earful! In it, First Ladies between Martha Washington and mamie Eisenhower tell their own stories - or, to be more exact, whatever they want - in their own words and in their own styles. It crosses boundaries between fact, conjecture and, most importantly, centuries. THrough dialogue-boxes, the Ladies talk to each other across Eternity, where anyting is possible. They talk about their lives, their times, their marriages, the White House, and, of course, politics. Schwartz Foster continued, "I have permitted the old gals to talk to the reader and to talk amongst themselves, via innovative dialogue boxes. The Modern First Ladies, from Mrs. Kennedy through Mrs. Clinton participate in commentary. It's not just the stories of their lives - it's an opening into what they were like as people. They were definitely not the 'non-entities' that history usually calls them."
The television program will air on Monday, November 29 at 9 PM, and will be repeated on tuesday, November 30 at 7 a.m., 9 a.m., 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
