Rumors are flying that scientists at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN will announce something on December 13th as to its findings as to what the universe is really made of. The Standard Model of physics is at stake here and I have a horse in this race as well. 

Or perhaps as science types often do, they will claim that they have found something, but, more research and research money is needed to clarify, or that the findings raise more questions than answers, thereby making people like me snatch my own head bald.
