More reviews for ''The Ladies'' from Authonomy

Hi

I have received a lot more comments on 'The Ladies of Low Arvie - living the farming dream' from readers on the Authonomy website in the last few days.  These people are authors themselves and I have been delighted that they all have many postive things sto say about my book.  Here are a few of them:

A wonderful tale! I'm absolutely fascinated by the fact that this is non-fiction. You make it read like fiction, such an interesting life! It's a heck of an adventure to set out on and enjoyable to read about. Your writing is a pleasure to read and I found myself wanting to keep going and going. Thank you for sharing this with us.

The Ladies opens with such an optimistic, admirable beginning that one knows the writer must also be possessed of dedication, endurance and enthusiasm to make it work. There is no doubt that the author of this work has all of those in abundance. It is also obvious, before delving much further into the book, that a deft skill with words has been brought to the development of this book. (My impression was of a pragmatic but feeling individual with, however, not too much time for 'pink'). This work is informal and without awkwardness, but also informative without detracting from the natural charm of its narrative

This is truly a heart warming, genuine and obviously sometimes, bitter sweet frist person narrative. On the level of a critic I can only say that the writing has a lilting quality that resonates well with the reader. On a personal level, without having read it the end, congratulations to all on the endeavour. backed

So glad I stopped by to "have a go" at your informative and enchanting book The Ladies of Low Arvie -- Living the Farming Dream. You have chosen a splendid way to enjoy your golden years, and you've taken this reader, very much a city girl, on your adventure in the peaceful countryside of Scotland. Enjoyable and backed, I need to return to read more.

Thank you.
