TEXAS CITY — Writer Jill Eisnaugle’s winning ways continued Monday when greetings card manufacturer Hallmark unveiled the in-store-sales winners of its “Birthday His Way” card design contest.
Eisnaugle, of Texas City, doubled her earnings for her “hot chick and cold brew” design, which already had won her $250 as a winning entry in the contest’s online-sales section.
Now, her card will go on sale as part of the company’s “100th anniversary of Hallmark” birthday card display, featured in Hallmark stores from June 21.
It also will be sold everywhere else Hallmark cards are found, in such stores as Walgreens and Walmart.
Eisnaugle hopes her entry in Hallmark’s “Happy Anniversary” contest will prove another one-line winner when the results are announced next week.
“I turned a ‘Dead End’ sign into a sweet anniversary idea — so we’ll see what happens,” she said.
