Past is past, and if one

		Subtraction Flower You could die for it-- love, or refuse it altogether and know nothing except the urgency of youth. About Last night:

Water Street books Poetry night,hosted by John Ferguson, had two exceptional poets featuring.

Joann Ducanson is familiar to the PPLP Hoot and various Exeter venues- My favorite moments involve an intimate feeling that comes when she picks up her guitar and sings…Last night she read the crayon poem and one on invisibility that I may have heard before, but will now be unable to forget-due to the fact that once again, I felt like she was performing just for me…

Lee Ann Dalton, led off the evening, explaining that she hadn’t performed for some time. At which point she took the audience to school. Sonnets pantoum, lotsa rhyming stuff…all drawing everyman in the room onto her side and probably the women too. If she shows up again... run –don’t walk-to her show !
