For years I've puzzled about the open-ending of "The Mystery Club Solves a Murder." What if the killer didn't drown in the Pacific? Now we know, and it is the changes that take place in his personality that the story is all about. I hope readers won't find it maudlin. I should complete it in a few weeks. Then to the revisions and copy edits!
This may be about my 40th book. I've lost count of the ones that were unworthy.
