I  merrily celebrated my milestone birthday on board the P.S. Murray Princess.With me were my husband, my brother and his wife.On Saturday 3 March after dinner everyone sang 'Happy Birthday" to me.For the entire trip the weather was perfect, sunny days with temperatures mostly in the late twenties. In all, we had a marvellous trip: the paddleboat was built in 1986 and was comfortably fiited out with mahogany woodwork, velvet curtains and comfortable armchairs a plenty in gorgeous rooms. Every day we were provided with first quality meals. As the vessel only accommodated 120 passengers everyone mingled well. Each day there many activities to consider on and off-board.  On board were a lovely mix of Aussies and Kiwis with a few English and Europeans added for zest. it was the best boat trip ever! I would highly recommend  Captain Cook Cruises for a high-quality experience sailing up the mighty Murray River that provides water for New South Wales and Victorian inland towns.
