Dorien Grey announces the release of "The Peripheral Son," the fourteenth book in the popular Dick Hardesty Mystery series.

Few book series reach a total ten books, but Grey's Dick Hardesty series has surpassed that number by four, and with a devoted and growing reader base, Grey sees no end in sight.

"Though each book can be read as a stand-alone, and new readers can step in at any point, there is a continuity and growth of the characters, who are as important as the stories," Grey says.

"The plot of 'The Peripheral Son' revolves around P.I. Dick Hardesty's search for a missing and reclusive writer, a closeted contender for the middleweight boxing title, an enigmatic accountant, a scandal-plagued construction union, and a toy truck," Grey explains.
