| No matter how you turn and twist the figures - a hundred per cent of nothing is nothing |
INTERMISSION A little more than a year ago, I temporarily closed down my AuthorsDen account. The reason was that I needed time to move my publishing activities from Europe to USA. Between 2000 and 2002, I had published four thrillers in Great Britain. According to the contracts the publisher should keep the books available in all English-speaking countries. This didn't happen. I have terminated the contracts to be free to move these books to another publisher.
U.S. PRESENCE AT LAST In September 2004 I signed a contract for my fifth thriller 'Fragments of Decency' with Publish America. Published May 2005. So what really should go without saying has become a great feeling - to have a paperbook safely available in the country where I do the lion part of my promotion. No more frustration because the publisher 'fails' to deliver the books on request. In course of time, my earlier titles too will be published as paperbacks in USA. They are currently available as Ebooks, published with Ebookomatic.
ON THE MOVE My sixth thriller 'On No Account' is under publishing with Publish America, releasing March 2006. I'm proud and excited to be a member of the US writing community though I'm not a resident or a citizen of this great nation.
I'm glad to be back as an active member of AuthorsDen. I'm looking forward to read and produce articles, news and blogs.
Best Regards Albert Loren
