My Own Avatar wins Writers Digest Contest

Kent Mason won the Writers Digest 2005 Fiction Writing contest for My Own Avatar. His story won over 17,000 entries. As part of his prize Kent won an expenses paid trip to New York to meet agents and editors to pitch the novel developed from the short story.
