Third Edition of A Story is a Promise & Deep Characterization Available

4/16/2008 9:57:00 PM

by Bill Johnson

Bill Johnson's third edition of A Story is a Promise explores the differnce between personal storytelling and telling a story to an audience.

In the third edition of his popular writing workbook, A Story is a Promise, Bill Johnson explores the difference between personal storytelling and telling a story to an audience. The concept is that some authors make a main character an extention of the author and use the character to act out personal issues instead of being an active character in a story world.

Bill is a produced playwright, optioned screenwriter, and is currently the office manager for Willamette Writers, a non-profit writing group with 1,500 members in the Pacific Northwest.
