Wow, Great responses so far.
I have received stories from Florida, Colorado, Washington, Australia, Isreal and England so far.
One thing I see is exactly what I expected. No matter who you are or where you live, or what religion you are, if you care for a pet you love unconditionally just as our pets love us back.
Fantastic stories. Keep them coming.
Jake Author Jake George is looking for stories of grief at the passing of a pet and how the grief was overcome by the joy of having the pet in your life. Jake's beloved blue marl, smooth collie, Moriah had to be put to sleep on 15 Aug 2007 at the age of 13 years, due to a stoke. Moriah crossed over peacefully in his and his wife's hands. Even though her crossing is now so raw, we can see the joy that she has given us in the 11 years we took care of her. It is her joy that will be remembered, the look of her little brown eyes looking from one of us to the other. That will replace the sorrow.
We are looking for your stories about your pet and how they changed your life and way of looking at the world. The stories may be included in a book that Jake is writing titled, “Goodnight My Sweet Baboo“ and is currently in negotiation with a publisher.
