The "3rd Muses Prize - Best Artist of Year 2006-female " goes to a poet from New York. Pamela De Leon - Lewis bested other nominees from the film and music industry. Pamela made an excellent impact on the artists community in the year 2006 with her poem book, "Smiling Through Tears: Breast Cancer Survivor Odyssey" which also won the 3rd Muses Prize - Poetry :Best Poem book of Year 2006-Female. This is the first time Muses Prize chose a poet to be the Artist of Year in the female category. Pamela also won the 3rd Muses Prize - Poetry for Best Poet of Year 2006 and Best Poem of Year 2006.

a. Meryl Streep - Meryl Streep made a very good impact in the artist community in 2006. She did not win the title "3rd Muses Prize - Best Artist of Year 2006". But, she won the the title "1st Muses Prize - Film for Best Actor of Year 2006" for her role in "The Devil Wears Prada".
b. Terri Hatcher - Terri Hatcher made a good impact in 2006 with her role in "Desperate Housewives".
c. America Ferrari. America Ferrari made an excellent impact in 2006 with her TV role in "Ugly Betty".
d. Salma Hayek. Salma Hayek's TV production "Ugly Betty " continues to received excellent ratings in 2006.
e. Lauren Weisenberg. Lauren made a good impact in 2006 with her novel "The Devil Wears Prada".
f. Eva Longoria. Eva Longoria made a good impact in 2006 with her role in "Desperate Housewives".
