John W. McCoy has worked in the large international banks and for the donor organizations for the past twenty-five years. He has seen, at first hand, the difficulties of large bad debts in banks and the difficulties of the donors in trying to influence change on governments. The author has published two works of fiction describing different facets of corruption in the international financial world.
McCoy's stories are based on truth but concealed by bankers and governments for their own reasons. Hidden Money and Leaving it Behind are recommended books for an insight into this world of intrigue and deception. It's all about money and the ways it was created. Leaving it Behind is about the struggles of the Vietnamese people in the aftermath of a war that was imposed on them and the struggle to survive the drug lords that were rampant in the Golden Triangle, threatening to take over their lives. The author lived with those people and he understood them; and they understood his concerns and compassion.
Hidden Money is all about the set up of money laundering using the banking system as the prime target to wash criminal funds to a safe clean environment. The publisher American Book Publishing released Hidden Money and Leaving it Behind during June 2001.
