Exit And Entrance
(Knowing When To Leave A Ministry And How To Enter Another)
By : Danny Von Kanel
The mangled steel was jagged and pierced from the impact. Welded together coaches from the intense heat painted a gruesome story of the October, 99 train wreck in London, England between two crowded rush hour trains. The crash occurred as the 6.03 from Cheltenham was approaching Paddington. The 8.06 Great Bedwyn, Wiltshire service crossed its path whileaccelerating out of the station. The three-carriage Wiltshire was cut in half. Lives were lost.
Those who remain to remember the tragedy of faulty exits and entrances, will never be the same.
Ministry also involves a series of exits and entrances. Knowing when to leave a church and how to enter another will keep us from ministry train wrecks -- assuring us of smooth exits and productive entries.
