Book Club Review

| Book Club was held at a restaurant in the Downtown section of Chicago with nine people present. |
I moderated by first book club featuring my novel, Cunning Proposals. I wasn't the least bid nervous. I enjoyed explaining to the book club members why my characters acted as they did. I was floored when they asked how I knew so much about the Mafia. They assumed I had first hand knowledge since an author writes about what is familiar. Imagination is a great thing isn’t it? Once or twice when I didn’t defend one of my characters, one of the book members would. Everyone enjoyed reading my tale of yarns and wondered whether there would be a sequel. The discussions were invigorating and I'm looking forward to doing more book clubs where my novel is featured.
