Dear Sage, I’ve been meaning to write you for a long time, and more than meaning to, feeling the need to do so. You have been so consistently kind and attentive in your readings and comments both to mine and Joseph*’s writings, so intelligent and profoundly sensitive in your analysis of the contexts, concepts and motivations behind and beyond those writings, that not only do we feel immensely grateful to you, but we also feel like you have known us and we have known you for much longer than just this short period of our interaction in AD. There are some amazing things… we were fascinated about your connection with the wolves and would love to learn more about it, because, guess what… we have six adopted Iberian wolves ourselves (they used to be eight, but two of them died of old age recently), and they are a capital, conceivably intrinsic part of our own spirit, too!
Also, we have come to admire your work deeply. Your style is innovative, fluent and fluid like a Zen garden fountain, even when the concepts, messages and emotions conveyed are of a bolder or more searing nature, and an essence of wisdom, acquired yet always sought and never assumed as complete, thus ever evolving, permeates all of your creations and is powerfully transmitted onto the spirit of those of your readers who also seek to learn and evolve continuously. This consciousness, dear Sage, makes it even more of an honor for us to be read, in the full sense of the word, by you, and even if you graciously expressed your understanding of the reasons why we haven’t been more active reviewing you – for we do read you, too – we still apologize for such a scarce feedback, and are truly looking forward to enjoying a less busy period and thus having the opportunity of interacting more with you and other authors whom we also greatly admire. Hopefully, such time will come soon, now that our most recent book has finally been officially released and some promotional actions are already on their way.

I want to speak of Joseph's and Alexandra's precious autographed gratuitous gift of Universes Beyond the Visible ~ Elements of Dream
Today, January 31, 2006, I took the afternoon off and took Universes Beyond the Visible ~ Elements of Dream to the meadow where my Wicca prayer altar is --- 250 steps out my back door down a receding embankment. This meadow is a deer haven, fox run, trickster coyote field, rabbit breeding ground, and bird habitat where many varieties of birds converge as One, leaving me a spiritual feather of their variety as Joseph and Alexandra have left me their gift of air, fire, and water.
Here are my thoughts on what I have experienced on this very spiritual afternoon. There is nothing that compares with this --- nothing that compares with what I feel at this present moment.
The first of Universes Beyond the Visible ~ Elements of Dream explores air. I am sitting inside my prayer circle I have made from big rocks. The breeze is noticeably present here in the Colorado Wet Mountains, part of the Rocky Mountains.
I begin to read, take it all in slowly. The first line of Joseph's poem When resonates with me and I hear the name Sage.
"When wind whispers,
it will be your name."
I am in awe of Alexandra's poem Nomad Writing. These lines plant my boots firmly into the rich soil poetry and takes me for a ride somewhere beyond, the highest caliber where the arts and the life of the mind reach higher than anywhere.
"Somehow, she has seen you ride
visions across fields with no fences
and across fences trying to delineate
limits of field, and she and you have
sat by streams and drunk from night
and morning with no stirrups willing
the stars or the sun forward."
I have with me a wicker basket full of sage smudge sticks. I harvest one hundred pounds of wild Colorado sage from my property each year. I strike a sulfur tipped match and put a fire to the end of the dried scent-maker. I watch the flame, thinking of Joseph's fire. I snuff it and let the sage smoke purify the air around me. Mixed with the wild scent of my five white wolves an acre away, I am in the Goddess's and Gaia's house. I feel so very, very priveleged.
This line in the Fire section of Joseph's Lifetime Pleasures lights my lamp of wisdom.
"I want to understand the fire.
to dance with it and feel its
warmth."
This line in Alexandra's The Hour
"It was the hour of no other hours"
inspires me to cover the six clocks when I enter my home again from spending my afternoon in 'Sage's Meadow.'
Joseph's photography on the right side of the page of Alexandra's poem The Hour is just magnificent, a pair of flames that makes time stand still.
I turn the page to Water. Alexandra's poem, Beyond the Visible captivates me with this line.
"Again you grasp me
in the liquid universe
visible
beyond your eyes."
And when I view Diffused Infusion, it totally rocks my world! The photograph accompanying this is imagery beyond the universe! AWESOME pattern of light!
I use total recall and I have a photographic memory. Universes Beyond the Visible ~ Elements of Dream is stored in my memory and I will access it often. I will share Universes Beyond the Visible ~ Elements of Dream with my company. I have it proudly displayed upon my coffee table where my seven cut-crystal prisms hanging in my wall of window looking west to the base of the Wet Mountains just eighty acres away, where the monks train at a retreat at the Trinity Ranch, reflect their colors of the rainbow upon Joseph's and Alexandra's Universes Beyond the Visible ~ Elements of Dream.
Thank you OneLight, Alexandra and Joseph for Universes Beyond the Visible ~ Elements of Dream. This book I will always, for as long as I am on this plane of life, will cherish, and when I leave, remember, I have a photographic memory and my spirit will merge what you have so graciously given me.
