Release Forms and the necessary legal paperwork in order, it has been a long journey from the concept of the lesbian western novel From the Convent to the Rawhide: The Saga of Sadie Cade and Vi Montana by Sage Sweetwater. The 5 year project finally came to fruition this past week when the script and soundtrack was packaged and headed overnight mail for Triboro Pictures development department who has been anxiously waiting for the script for months. Michael Gunther has just returned home from Cannes Film Festival a few weeks ago.
Months of hard studio work put in by Paul Kraushaar and Shay Dillon of Para-Sight Records in Nevada City and months of working closely with Tim Riley, my screenwriter and Paul and Shay, The Saga finished up on a very timely note. The CD cut, mastered, and image burned on the CD sounds and looks like something Tom Mix would put his Hollywood Star on!
Sage Sweetwater's other various lesbian western properties in screenplay adaptation are in the cinematic chute for film and television. Look for the Mustangs!
