Steve Burt's story collection, Odd Lot: Stories to Chill the Heart, has been named a finalist for 2001 Book of the Year (General Fiction) by ForeWord Magazine, one of the largest publishers of book reviews for librarians and booksellers. The book, already a finalist for the Benjamin Franklin Award for Best Mystery/Suspense Book of 2001 (Publishers Marketing Association), is a collection of Burt's award-winning New England ghost stories and psychic mysteries.
