The Talking Stick, a Minnesota literary journal, has announced that my short story, My Hapless Husband, was accepted for publication.
A ten year old publication of the Jackpine Writers' Bloc, The Talking Stick showcases poetry, prose, fiction and creative nonfiction.
Volume 16 will be released in November, 2007. |

The talking stick is a Native American tradition used to facilitate an orderly discussion. Speakers are arranged in a talking circle and the stick is passed from hand to hand and allows each person to speak without interruption.
The talking stick brings natural elements together to guide and direct the talking circle and is made of wood, decorated with feathers or fur, beads or paint, or a combination of all.
