Patti Ann Bengen, author of the novel, "New Beginnings", was invited to speak at a local book club meeting in Wading River, NY.
Ms. Bengen answered questions, and went into detail about her characters, their choices, and her reasons for writing this book about domestic violence and the climb to self-empowerment.
