It's quite an honor to be chosen from several thousand books that were submitted to the Next Generation Indie Book Awards. Submitting to book competitions is always the kind of event that you have to sit back and let your work talk for you.
The dedicated judges that have to wade through so many titles to find something that truly grabs their attention and keeps it rivetted to the last page must be a daunting task.
I am deeply gratified that I wrote this series of children's books-grateful that  have that sort of imagination that stays a step ahead of the reader, give 'em a good ride, along with the surprises they long for , but can't see coming-the stuff that makes a good read great.
Heck of a job and maybe someday it'll pay off, but for now, it seems that folks agree that Pengey Penguin is definately a wholesome and worthwhile read.
That's a feather I'm happy to stick in my cap any day.
