HOT! HOT! HOT! Is how to describe this year and gaming. A few blockbusters have been delivered with others on the way. Let’s take a look at three scheduled for release this fall!
RESIDENT EVIL 6

(Capcom, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, October 2, 2012)
Featuring six unique characters that gamers control, “6” is set 10 years after the events that ravaged Raccoon City, and the horror stories just continue…The zombies are even more advanced than previous versions. How is this possible? Blame Darwinism. This game has more of a production feel, blending mystery, action, and horror together for the player. Can’t get enough of Resident Evil? Well, that won’t be an issue this fall when Sony Pictures releases “Resident Evil: Retribution on 3D” in theaters. Still not enough? Get ready for the Resident Evil reality show coming to FOX! Okay, that last part isn’t true…
HALO 4

(Microsoft, 343 Industries, Xbox 360, November 6, 2012)
Set four years after the events of “Halo 3,” Master Chief has a new setting, but the “shoot’em down” rules still apply. The new game will further explore the man beneath the mask of John, while utilizing multi-player. Players can create their own Spartan IV warrior for multiplayer and engage in a four-player cinematic adventure in the new Spartan Ops or jump into massive competitive arenas with War Games. All multiplayer will be linked through the UNSC Infinity starship to keep players immersed in this rich universe.
