Just got word from my agent, Barbara Casey, that BLUFF, my second mystery-suspense novel in the Lark Chadwick series, goes into editing today.
In this story, Lark looks into the mysterious death of Holly Stone along the Inca Trail in Peru. Holly is the daughter of Lionel Stone, Lark's friend and mentor at "The Pine Bluff Standard," the small weekly in southern Wisconsin where Lark works as a reporter.
I researched the book by hiking the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in 2007 - 4 days, 25 miles, 14,000 feet.
No publication date has been set, but it might not be long now. Thanks for your patience.
In the meantime, if you haven't already, check out "Fast Track," the first book in the series in which Lark solves the mystery of the car-train collision that orphaned her as an infant. It's available in hardcover, as an innovative magazine formated paperback, and as a Kindle e-book.
